RENTAL OF TOYS |

How
long can I rent a toy for? |
| |
Our standard published
rate is based on a rental period of
2 weeks, unless otherwise stated on
our website. Please note that there
are some items which have rental rates
based on a rental period of 3 days.
Please contact us if you have any
special request for a shorter or longer
rental period. |

Is there a limit
to how many toys I can rent at a time? |
| |
No. We welcome you
to rent any toys which are available
at the time you are browsing our site. |

I have a birthday
party and only want to rent a toy
for the day, can I do that? |

Our minimum rental
period is 2 weeks but yes, you are
welcome to contact us for such special
arrangement. |

Is it possible
to keep the toy for a longer period
while the toy is in my care? |
| |
It is possible,
provided that the toy has not been
reserved by another customer right
after your original rental period.
Please call us if you intend to do
so, and we will do an immediate check
to let you know if you can extend
your rental period..
Please note though, that we would
require an upfront payment for the
new rental period – either by funds
transfer or credit card payment. If
the payment is not received by 2 days,
we will give you a call to remind
you. |

What if I return
the toy after the due date and I did
not inform you earlier that I wanted
an extension? |
| |
If the toys were
returned past the due date and we
were not informed earlier, you will
be charged an overdue fee. This fee
will be calculated based on a per
day basis x 20% premium for each overdue
day.
We encourage all our customers to
return our toys on time as there are
other parents or children who may
be waiting or have reserved the item.
In the event that the toys are not
returned on time, we reserve the right
to charge accordingly. |

ADVANCE BOOKING/ RESERVATIONS OF TOY |

If the toy I want is not available, can I make a reservation? |
| |
Yes, you can definitely
make an advance booking for the toy.
Please let us know your desired rental
period (please note it needs to cover
a 2 week period). All advance booking
has to be paid in full upon agreement
of rental period. We will issue you
with an invoice with confirm the payment
and the rental details. |

How much in advance can I reserve a toy, since I intend to rent it for an occasion which is 2 months away? |

We accept advance bookings
up to 3 months from the day you contact
us. Please note cancellation charges/
penalties apply. Please see “Cancellation

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS |

How do I pay for the rental charges? |
| |
We currently accept payment
by cash or inter-bank funds transfer. |
| |
|

Do I have to pay a deposit when renting your toys? |
| |
We do require a deposit
of RM 50 for each order. This means
that it does not matter if you rent
a single toy or 3 items at one go,
the deposit amount is still RM50. |

DELIVERY |

Do you deliver out of Klang Valley? |
| |
Free delivery will
be given to all orders which exceed
RM120 per order.
Each order that is under RM120, a
delivery charge of RM25 per trip is
applicable. We charge RM40 for 2-way
trip. |

You are a 100% online store – what are the ways I can collect the toys? |
| |
1.
Self – collect:
|
you can arrange a time with us to collect the toy from our warehouse. |
| 2. Delivery: |
we are able to arrange
for delivery to your desired
location, particularly for bulky
toys. The charges are RM40 for
2 way (RM25 for one way trip),
including delivery and return
of toy. If your order is above
RM120, free delivery will be
provided for you. |

Collection & Delivery timings |
| |
Upon confirmation
of your order, we will guarantee delivery
between 3 days. We will contact you
to confirm the collection/ delivery
arrangement.
Please note that collection and
deliveries are available only from
Mon – Sat, between 10 a.m.- 7 p.m..
If you need a toy on Sunday, please
plan for collection or for it to
be delivered on a Saturday. Collection/
Return of toy will be fixed on a
Monday at no extra charges. |

WEAR & TEAR VS DAMAGES/ MISSING PARTS |

What if a toy breaks down shortly or damaged after I rent it? |
| |
We at Playlend.com take
due care of our toys. We ensure that
the toys we rent out are not old or
worn down. Overtime, toys may break
down after wear and tear. If a toy
is damaged, please inform us immediately
and we will handle on a case-by-case
basis.
However, please note that if an
item is damaged or parts are missing,
but it is still can be rented out,
a fee of 1 month’s rental fee applies.
This compensation will be offset
with the RM50 deposit/ top-up by
the customer in cash upon return/
pick-up of the toy.
If the damage or missing part makes
the item unsuitable for rental,
we would allow the customer to replace
the item or pay for a replacement
of the same toy or an equivalent,
if the toy is no longer available
for sale by the manufacturer. |

| 6. |
CANCELLATION CHARGES |

What happens when I want to cancel my reservation/ advance booking? |
| |
Cancellation charges and
penalties do apply.
Cancellation of advance booking is
allowed if 1 weeks’ notice or more
is given to us. If the notice given
is less than a week (7 days) from
the start of rental date, we will
charge 50% of the pre-committed charges
based on each order, in Malaysian
Ringgit (RM). |

REFUNDS |

| • |
I have the toy at my place but I want to return it earlier than the last day of my rental period. Can I get part of my rental fee back? |
| |
No refunds will
be given once the toy has been rented
out for the stipulated and agreed
period between Playlend.com and the
customer. You are welcome to return
the toy earlier than the last date
of rental, if you don’t have the use
of it anymore but there will be no
refunds.
For any unplanned return of toys,
you can either drop off the toy
at our warehouse location, or pay
for the delivery charges when we
come to your location to pick up
the toys. |

opening hours? |
| |
We are a 100% online
store so enquiries are dealt with
as soon as we receive them through
calls or emails. Our operation hours
are from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily, Monday
to Saturday.

| 9. |
CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE OF TOYS |

Do you clean your toys? What do you use? |
| |
We clean each toy once it
is returned to the warehouse. Antibacterial
soap with hot water is used to wash
all surfaces and air-dried. Please
rest ensured the soap we used is safe
for young children.

Are we expected to clean the toys and other items before returning them? |
| |
Toys returned to us should
be in the original condition it was
delivered. It should be in a re-usable
condition, even though we will clean
each toy again when it reaches our
warehouse. We ask you to treat the
toys like your own, so that other
parents and children can have a chance
to use the toys after you.
If the toys are returned in a dirty
condition which requires extra cleaning
or professional cleaning is required
to remove, for example: stains,
we will need to charge you a minimum
of RM30 to cover these costs. |
