1. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Use govern your use of Playlend.com's service and Web site. By using, visiting, or browsing the Playlend.com Web site, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you should not use the Playlend.com service or Web site. These Terms of Use are an ongoing contract between you and Playlend.com and apply to your use of the Playlend.com service and Web site.

2. How Playlend.com Works

Playlend.com is an online toy rental service providing its customers with access to a wide variety of high quality and unique toys for young children. Our toys are focused on promoting fine motor, sensory, cognitive and emotional development. Toys can be rented from a minimum of 3 days (for certain products) to 2 weeks. All reservations and rentals have to be prepaid.

You may choose to pick up your toy from our office's location or you may choose to have the toys delivered to you for a fee. Customers should use the toys according to the instructions provided by us and within the age/ weight limit as stated on our website. Upon expiry of the rental period, the customer shall return the toy in their original condition received at the start of the rental period. The items should be returned on a timely basis, or the customer shall agree to compensate the company with extra rental fees for the prolonged rental period. The late charges will be calculated based on a per day basis  x 20% premium for each overdue day.

3. Refund/Cancellation

Cancellation of advance booking is allowed if 1 week's notice (7 days) or more is given to us. If the notice given is less than a week from the start of rental date, we will charge 50% of the pre-committed charges based on each order, in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).

No refunds will be given once the toy has been rented out for the stipulated and agreed period between Playlend.com and the customer. There will be no refunds should the customer wish to return the toy earlier than the last date of rental. The customer is allowed to return the toy earlier by either dropping the toy off at our office, or agreeing to pay for delivery charges when we come to your location to pick up the toys.

4. Toy Care Policy

It is the responsibility of the customer to check and accept the immediate condition of the toy/ equipment to be rented at the start of the rental date.

Upon expiry of the rental period, the toy/ equipment should be returned to us in the original condition it was delivered. It should be in a clean & re-usable condition, even though we will clean each toy again when it reaches our warehouse. Playlend.com cleans each toy once it is returned to the warehouse. We ask you to treat the toys like your own, so that other parents and children can have a chance to use the toys after you.

If the toys are returned in a dirty condition which requires extra cleaning or professional cleaning is required to remove, for example: stains, we will need to charge you a minimum of RM30 to cover these costs.

5. Damaged/ Missing Toys or Parts

If a toy is damaged, please inform us immediately and we will handle on a case-by-case basis.

However, please note that if an item is damaged or parts are missing, but it is still can be rented out, a fee of 1 month's rental fee applies. This compensation will be offset with the RM50 deposit/ top-up by the customer in cash upon return/ pick-up of the toy. 

If the damage or missing part makes the item unsuitable for rental, we would allow the customer to replace the item or pay for a replacement of the same toy or an equivalent, if the toy is no longer available for sale by the manufacturer.

6. Limitations on Liability

Playlend.com is not responsible and will not be held responsible for any injury, disability or death resulting from the use of our toys and play equipment. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure that they adhere to the usage instructions and any weight/height or age limit that comes stated on our website or product packaging for the toy or equipment he/she has rented from Playlend.com.

7. Billing

By using Playlend.com, you authorize us with access to your credit card details.

8. Usage of Information Submitted

Playlend.com is free to use any form of comments, information, reviews or feedback and any other materials in any format which have been included in your communication with Playlend.com. com. We reserve the right to use the information at our discretion without having to seek the customer's approval or make payment in any forms to the customer.

9. Collection and Use of Information

We collect information on our customers' profiles and also records of past rental records for the purpose of obtaining a better understanding of our customer base as well as their preferences. We do not sell and re-use your personal data in any other way, except for the purpose of improving our services to the customers. When you request to be included in our emails on future promotions and other information related to Playlend.com, we will share related information on our services to you. Should you wish for Playlend.com to stop contacting you, please send an email to us stating your wish to do so.

From time to time, we may partner with companies whose products we believe will interest our users. In conjunction with these partners, we may send promotional announcements and/or serve web-based advertisements to our customers on their behalf.

10. Privacy

We reserve the right to choose how much information to disclose to our customers, relating to our products offered or any corporate information which we may deem is not in the best interest of the company to do so.

11. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Playlend.com reserves the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms of Use in our sole and absolute discretion. The most current version of these Terms of Use can be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms and Conditions" located at the bottom of the pages of the Playlend.com Web site. The most current version of the Terms of Use will supersede all previous versions. Your use of the Playlend.com Web site or continued use of our service after changes are made means that you agree to be bound by such changes.
